Her father, Jai Parkash Aggarwal, was a former Member of Parliament from the Chandni Chowk constituency in Delhi. She completed her schooling at the Convent of Jesus and Mary in New Delhi, which is known for its emphasis on academic excellence and moral education.
For her higher education, Radhika pursued a Bachelor’s degree in Journalism and Mass Communication from Indraprastha University, Delhi, graduating in the year 2000. Her college years were not just about academics; they were also a time when she began to actively engage in politics. She joined the Indian Youth Congress, the youth wing of the Indian National Congress party, and started her journey in the political arena.

Radhika Khera’s career in politics began at a young age when she joined the National Students’ Union of India (NSUI), the student wing of the Indian National Congress (INC). Her early involvement in politics was marked by her appointment as President of Mundka Block NSUI of Delhi State.
Her political journey continued as she took on various roles within the Youth Congress. She served as the General Secretary of District Najafgarh, Delhi Pradesh Youth Congress, and later became its Vice President. Her dedication and hard work led to her appointment as State General Secretary, New Delhi, in 2012.
In 2014, Radhika was appointed Chairperson of Social Media for the Delhi Pradesh Congress, where she utilized her communication skills to enhance the party’s digital presence. Her expertise in media coordination was further recognized when she became the National Media Coordinator of the INC.
Radhika’s political aspirations led her to contest elections as well. She ran for the Delhi Legislative Assembly election from the Janakpuri constituency in 2020. Despite her efforts, she did not win the seat. However, this setback did not deter her, and she continued to serve her party with zeal.
She was later appointed AICC Coordinator Incharge of Media & Communication for Ahmedabad/Baroda ahead of the 2022 Gujarat Legislative Assembly election and for Chhattisgarh ahead of the 2024 Lok Sabha elections.
